Our Children and Young People

Children and Young People

St Oswald’s values people of all ages, and we are blessed with the presence of children and young people in our congregation.

Many of our children and young people are involved with our church choir, or as altar servers. Our young people often read in church services, lead prayers, and have occasionally performed drama in church.

Organised groups include:

Junior Church
Meets on Sunday mornings in term time. We begin in the Church Hall just before 11.00am, where the children undertake various activities before joining the congregation in church for the rest of the service.

Icthus Youth Club

Occasional visits have included activity days at an outdoor pursuits centre, ten pin bowling, ice skating and camping.

Chi-Rho Youth Group
